I'm the author of eight books, including five in the award-winning Sam Tate Mystery Series, and coauthor with D. Landau of several of the musical murder mystery plays in the popular Café Noir collection. I worked as a professional composer and a public relations director for architecture firms in New York, Princeton, and Philadelphia. Following my husband’s death on 9/11/01, I became a family advocate for the governor of New Jersey and the executive director of Families of September 11 before turning full-time to writing. I now serve on the leadership council of Search for Common Ground, an international conflict transformation organization.
